Important information before booking:
· Please attempt to reserve your
tour at least 8 weeks before your intended time of travel to reserve plane or train seats. Our group tours do fill up so please
book early.
· Visiting the DPRK is truly a fun and safe experience but please
do not bring weapons, explosives, poisons, narcotics, GPS navigation devices, plants, animals, or high powered cameras into the country.
· Warning:
As of right now Journalists are not allowed to enter the DPRK and may not apply for a visa. If this rule applies or may apply you
please contact us for more information but please do not apply for a visa.
· The DPRK accepts Euros only and in some cases Chinese currency. The price of your trip includes the salary of your DPRK government
appointed guide who will be with you for the length of your trip but we do recommend a token gift or tip at the end the trip.
· All trips to the DPRK leave from Beijing, China, you may travel to Beijing independently or DPRK Travel Tours can book your travel from your home through Beijing for you. Beijing is a wonderful city and we highly recommend giving yourself a few days to visit it as well.
· Specific information for your particular trip will be included in your “Welcome to the DPRK” travel package your will receive when you book your tour.

No money is due now. Only once your application has been accepted is a deposit of 50% of the tour price due in order to hold your train or plane seat and to process your visa with the DPRK authorities. If DPRK Travel Tours or the DPRK authorities cancel the tour the full amount will be refunded immediately. If the client cancels the tour after the reservations and visa application have already been processed they may only be eligible for a partial refund.
